Revolve is a concept for a cycling app that let's you plan routes, analyze data from your rides, check weather conditions, health, connect bike head units, & lets you generate new routes based on your preferences for that particular session or day.

The purpose of this project was to challenge myself to create a solution for an area of interest previously completely unknown to me.

Many cyclists today, whether professional or recreational like to use different tools & devices to track their training. Parameters of importance are not just speed & distance but also elevation, wind, cadence & power among others. The current solutions are wearables & head units in combination with a plethora of different apps & homemade solutions.

In order to do research, I decided to go to different niche cycling forums. I learned that the average amount of apps used was between 3 & 4.

One example from a user was that they use one app for collecting and analyzing data, one for planning routes, one for connecting a head unit to collect data & one for looking at wind direction & speeds & how it affects their performance. This seemed like quite a fragmented experience with several different points of potential failure.

The final result of this idea turned into the concept Revolve, which is an app that converges several points of complex data into a single solution. Revolve lets you plan & share routes, analyze data from the sessions, check weather conditions and how they affect your performance.
